| 876271 | 2010-04-14 02:04:00 | For those of you who like ZoneAlarm, a 1 yr 3pc licence for the pro version is available via a link from here: dottech.org or from zonealarm's facebook page: www.facebook.com (www.facebook.com)for another 10 hours or so. I've been using ESET for the last 10 months, and am happy with it, apart from a slightly difficult interface, but when the licence for that runs out I was going to go back to Zonealarm Free, so I'm grabbing this offer while it lasts. Is ZoneAlarm still relatively ok as a firewall/security suite? I particularly like the fact that it's easy to configure. Advice appreciated. |

| 876274 | 2010-04-14 02:28:00 | NOD32 is excellent, but if you don't want to pay for it... ;) I wouldn't bother with a firewall, the windows firewall does enough for your average home user. Microsoft Security Essentials is a good free anti virus, I'd try that first, if that slows your PC down too much I'd recommend Avast. |

I'm not about to fork out for the ESET renewal (it was a 1-yr freebie also) Dont be so tight -- you have a good product, why go backwards. The RRP renewal of Nod32 is only $48.44 |
