| 792291 | 2009-07-16 21:26:00 | In the latest National Bank advert, what is the main instrument playing throughout the ad? Is it a keyboard or synthesizer or something else? Even Paul Henry commented this morning on "Breakfast" how nice the music is. Would love to get a copy of it somehow. |

The Music Classical music is one of the most recognisable elements of National Bank advertisements. Parts of Vivaldis Four Seasons have been recorded in new and contemporary ways to match each advertisement. |

I believe that all our current adverts use the Summer concerto, though previous adverts have used the Spring concerto . " I'll have to keep an ear out for the advert . But looks like Trev is probably right . A little Googling tells me that Vivaldi's Four Seasons comes in four flavours: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter . On U-Tube each appear to be around 6 minutes or longer . Are you very familiar with all of them?! The version on TV didn't sound like string instruments which would confirm that it had "been recorded in new and contemporary ways" . I haven't seen the advert again since this morning . Typical . |

Longest crescendo ever written as far as I am aware. And I can pick out each instrument as it comes in. |
