2009-07-16 00:54:00 | She said if I email her to her xtra account she will view them by webmail. My question is if someone at home downloads them will she still see them? I know Clear doesn't. Thanks.

2009-07-16 01:06:00 | when configuring your mail clients its always a good idea to tick the option that says "leave a copy of the message on the server". That way you can easily view the email if your are not using your email client. Also most ISP don't allow more than 1GB of space so you may need to do regular cleanup on your inbox if you choose to keep a copy on the server. | ronyville (10611) | |
2009-07-16 01:10:00 | Her home computer can have its email program set to leave a copy of the email on the server instead of deleting the server copy after downloading. Xtra (yahoo pro mail) doesn't limit mail storage.

2009-07-16 02:31:00 | Another reason for using a Gmail account!! That's because it supports IMAP! :D POP3 is designed for just one computer and one location. IMAP syncs all your emails with every client.

2009-07-17 01:10:00 | Another reason for using a Gmail account!! I agree - Xtra email has crashed in the past - Causing hassles when I was selling on Trademe, where buyers were not receiving my Xtra emails. Always have a back up web based email account...
