| 792234 | 2009-07-16 21:55:00 | Got that NZ post questionnaire in the mail yesterday. Went from the letterbox to the bin | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
| 792235 | 2009-07-16 22:01:00 | I got a email address i made for all those social network sites, great advertising for bedroom musicians lol They do fill up your email with alot of crap so best to have an email address just for them. As far as personal info, its totally up to you, I guess if your a joe bloggs who behaves etc you have nothing to worry about. Just dont give out personal contact info. As for me my last song Jessica is approaching 15000 downloads mainly due to these websites. I should've been charging!!! |

| 792238 | 2009-07-16 22:51:00 | That was what New Zealand Post were asking for and heaps heaps more in their disgraceful multipage questionaire they circulated a little while ago. Anyone fool enough to answer is asking for what they get...............:) Scary thing is, I bet a lot of people filled it in and returned it. Mine went straight to the bin without passing GO....... :spam |

| 792240 | 2009-07-16 23:39:00 | Very true . But I guess i wont know unless I try . Getting known is the first step I suppose - giving it away must be a good way to get started . Word must have gotten round for you to get 15,000 downloads, surely? |

| 792241 | 2009-07-16 23:57:00 | 15,000!! Impressive stuff mate! :D As for security, I had a friend once make a public post on her profile on her Bebo / MySpace (Back before Facebook was super-popular) saying "Hey all, flat-warming at my new place, 123 Xyz street, this time, this date, BYO drinks". I noticed shortly after and quickly sent her an SMS message warning of the dangers of doing something like that, especially when there are photos of her scantily clad on her profile.. Lets be honest, *anybody* could have turned up, rapists, murderers, gate-crashers, whoever! That said if you're smart about what you actually write, you're generally OK. Its for that reason that Facebook AFAIK marks all profiles as "private" by default (At least if you're under 21 I believe?) so you have to be a "friend" prior to being able to see a persons details, with the exception of their profile picture. I think I've had one spammer add me in Facebook in the last 2 years? On MySpace / Bebo I had countless people trying to add me as a buddy every single day, so I just gave up on them, less and less people use those two social networks nowadays anyways... |

On MySpace / Bebo I had countless people trying to add me as a buddy every single day, so I just gave up on them, less and less people use those two social networks nowadays anyways... I had that problem too, with MySpace, with numerous requests for joining affiliate sites (e.g. online games/gambling), adding new friends, joining groups etc,. But I think I made the mistake of submitting articles/blog posts, which attracted internet marketers. So now don't bother with MySpace anymore, and other social/blog directories...Can get too many requests. But I think their are plugins/utilities (particularly for twitter) to help combat/control to target your activities on social media... |

Getting there, Im not quite where Ive aimed for yet. That being said the music under rob_on_guitar online I will probably make free, Im hoping at the end of the year or start of next year Ive saved up enough to make a cd. Will have all the online songs plus new tracks on the cd. That being said Ive had 2 stalkers so far from the net where the police have had to get involved. Kinda creepy but i guess you have to expect it. One actually got info about me from a mate online, he feels really crap about it but didnt know what he was doing really. |
