| 877178 | 2010-04-16 06:54:00 | Our fujitsu Lifebook V1020 won't start up it says a file is missing and need to load my windows installation cd but I don't have one. the File: \windows\system32\winload.exe, Status: 0xc000000e, Info: The selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt. Is there any I access the hard drive to reload it from there as I haven't had much luck. | karbren (14078) | ||

| 877182 | 2010-04-16 07:21:00 | The desktop is xp but the other laptop has Vista home basic. I had rung a repair shop today and they said it would have to be done by accessing the hdd on the laptop concerned. | karbren (14078) | ||
| 877183 | 2010-04-16 07:31:00 | You could probably do a restore, if theres nothing on the hdd (that you want) . Or to save you taking it to a shop, if the desktop with XP has SATA, you could copy winload . exe from the other laptop to a USB flash drive (if you've got one) . Then connect the hdd that wont boot to XP (one of its SATA ports, if its got SATA ports) . Then copy it across |
