| 877127 | 2010-04-16 05:29:00 | Hi Team I finally migrated to my new computer this afternoon, but find that I have an odd and unexpected problem. I have business and private email accounts, both send test messages from the Outlook configuration page no problem at all, and both receive messages. However, neither account will send messages externally. I've also tried sending from one to the other (both ways) and the messages just sit in the outbox. I sent an email earlier today to a US address and it went no problem. I can't for the life of me see what could do this, so any ideas??? Cheers Billy 8-{) :badpc: |

They appear in mailwasher and download to outlook. There isn't an XP firewall that I don't know about is there? And what about MS Essentials, does that have an outgoing firewall? Outlook definitely sends and receives its own test messages OK. Cheers Billy 8-{):confused::confused: Fixed it, needed to be set to send receive immediately, user can't override it but MS can! D'oh |
