I have an IBM Thinkcentre which has an integrated graphics and sound on board (intel(R)82915G/GV/910GL Express chip set family). I recently installed an ATI Radeon HD 4350 graphics card, since then can't get any sound. I have tried enabling the on board card again. Do I need to purchase a separate sound card or is there a fix. I am running XP. |

Does the HD4350 have HDMI?? If it does, it may have changed the sound to the HDMI audio. Look under sounds, and make sure the onboard sound is the default |

Yes, it's quite likely that the HDMI audio device for your new Radeon is now set as the default sound device. |

Thanks for the advice on HDMI taking over the sound. All sorted. |
