When I upgraded the BIOS on my laptop, the instructions had in big capital letters: "MAKE SURE MAINS POWER IS PLUGGED IN BEFORE STARTING FLASH" I plugged the adaptor into the laptop but not into the wall. But their program was clever enough to tell me "Adaptor is not plugged in! You MUST connect the adaptor before flashing can continue" If Asus can't figure that out, well.... |

And if you use ASUS liveupdate, its not a good idea to use it to update a BIOS either. It'll fail. (load the BIOS file from the menu), if you want to update the BIOS within windows. | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
