2010-04-23 06:53:00 Will 120gb be enough for Vista, and its hideous bloatware? The world is not enough:D:devil KarameaDave (15222)
2010-04-23 08:52:00 Uh... we have a problem... (me and computers aren't the best combination), i repartitioned the HDD, the Vista installation took care of itself, restarted, and loaded up the HDD, and then said that its missing a critical driver, i loaded up startup repair, not working. the driver is winload.exe *sigh* Im re-installing windows atm Sir Prospect (14735)
2010-04-23 08:55:00 Reboot then format it then reinstall. See if that works Speedy Gonzales (78)
2010-04-23 08:59:00 Yea, im doing that right now, after it reboots, I get the expressgate screen (Asus), and since i set boot priority to Optical Drive first, it gives me a couple of seconds to activate it, I haven't, and have told it to go to the HDD, I'm right in saying that right? Sir Prospect (14735)
2010-04-23 09:12:00 Go into the BIOS, go to tools ( far right last one before exit), disable express gate -then it will load from the Hdd, or boot from the optical drive if that's set first, and theres a bootable cd/DVD in the drive. wainuitech (129)
2010-04-23 22:06:00 One disaster after the next -_-

Vista re-installed, and I updated the 79 updates available, and restarted it, it gave me the STOP 0xC000021A error, after googling it, I re-installed Vista again, drivers missing it said, so now im REINSTALLING it again.

2010-04-23 22:16:00 I re-installed Vista again, drivers missing it said, What drivers ??

You still have to install drivers for your hardware, audio, LAN etc. Vista wont automatically load every driver on its own.

2010-04-23 22:43:00 Will it boot into safe mode now then?? Is that all you've installed / Vista, and the updates (and nothing else)? Is it showing a driver / file in this stop error? Speedy Gonzales (78)
2010-04-23 23:37:00 Replace the hard drive. KarameaDave (15222)
2010-04-23 23:47:00 Which is what I said in post #17. Its knackered Speedy Gonzales (78)
