| 878263 | 2010-04-20 07:49:00 | Not at all true - I have my entire DVD collection backed up on the PC. What happens if you lose or scratch a disc? Then you get over it and life moves on. It's only a disc. |

| 878264 | 2010-04-20 11:21:00 | Then you get over it and life moves on. It's only a disc. But if he backed it up before it was destroyed he could get on with his life and also watch the movie whenever he wanted. |

| 878266 | 2010-04-21 00:21:00 | www.majorgeeks.com That looks great, especially the part where you can play them on a non-HDCP compliant display. It's got to be the stupidest thing they ever invented. I don't want to buy a new monitor or whatever, so if I buy a Blu-Ray film I can't watch it. If I pirate it or illegally copy it beforehand, I can watch it fine. What do you think I'm going to do? F**king idiots. I illegally copy things because I have to. |

And backing up is a must if your kids scratch the disks and thats if u can even find them after they have used them!!! I love ripping and encodings just for the fun of it. It's cool tweaking settings to see what will give you the best image and it's really satisfying in the end. |
