| 877963 | 2010-04-19 03:09:00 | Hi everyone . Okay so I just bought a new MSI A6200 and decided to try a video call . But sadly my microphone quality is horrible . Its a built in mic, and the receiver of the call said I sounded like I was underwater . I have tried messing with the sound options in the recording devices settings area . I've tried setting the level to +20 . 0dB and +30 . 0dB yet I do still sound as if I am underwater, plus it's also faint . Also have turned the mic sound to 100 with both settings . I've also tried changing enhancement settings and still nothing . Can anyone help with this please? |

Maybe the person you were talking to had an "underwater" effect turned on for their settings (Realtek is good at doing this kind of thing, why anyone would use it I have no idea) |
