| 877777 | 2010-04-18 09:29:00 | I'm thinking about putting this into service now that the new computer is running ok, but I don't intend to use wireless, at least not until my son nags me into giving him access for his laptop. So, I'd like to disable the wireless completely, i.e shut down the system so there is no RF radiation at all. I've read the full PDF manual from front to back twice, but can't see anything that indicates that this is possible. Am I dreaming, or is this actually possible, and if the latter applies, how do I do it? Cheers Billy 8-{) |

There could also be a command line interface manual available . Here ( . filestube . com/604422b38870cbad03ea,g/TG585-v7-CLI-1 . html" target="_blank">www . filestube . com) you can download the manual |

| 877781 | 2010-04-20 05:34:00 | its rename as "Interface Enabled:" rather than wireless -- i.e. wireless = interface | victorcharlie (442) | ||
| 877782 | 2010-04-20 05:39:00 | I have one of these modems as well, I thought you go http://192.168.1.254 (Thomson Gateway), Home Network > Interfaces > WLAN: (Network Name) > Configure > and untick the "interface enabled button"? Its just a suggestion, I could be wrong.... 192.168.1.254(Network+name+here) Even if it isn't, thats where the configuration is for the Wifi |
