793061 2009-07-19 22:27:00 Anybody been to it? I'm wondering if it might be worth a trip to Wellington to see it. Deane F (8204)
793062 2009-07-19 22:42:00 It is probably a bit race based. ;) R2x1 (4628)

How someone can be so witty on a Monday morning is beyond me. :D

793066 2009-07-20 01:13:00 Trying to get a friend to go who lives in Wellington to go and find out before I venture south. There are 9 F1 cars in it dating from the 50s to a late model Mclaren last years or the year before model.
Check it out here www.tepapa.govt.nz

793067 2009-07-20 02:17:00 Yeah I looked at the website - I see there are a couple of Ferraris too - as a long-time Scuderia Ferrari fan it will be the only chance I have to see a Ferrari F1 car until I manage to get to Melbourne at the right time. Deane F (8204)
793068 2009-07-20 02:38:00 Better hurry. Isn't the Melbourne race in danger of being dropped, or did the time change keep Bernie happy? :) Richard (739)
793069 2009-07-20 03:42:00 I've been - twice :)

Bloody fantastic. Especially seeing the McLaren M8A Can-Am car on Level 2. It is not part of the F1 exhibition and will only be there for another 2 weeks.

The F1 display is there until November.

Be prepared to take lots of photographs :)

793070 2009-07-20 03:53:00 I was reading on the Te Papa site you can take photos as long as you don't use a flash, I wonder why.
