| 879030 | 2010-04-22 09:04:00 | So after ages my RMA is finally through so time to buy the new card. XFX Radeon HD5970 Black Edition I have two questions before I commit. Any known issues with this? Is there a better card? |

| 879031 | 2010-04-22 09:07:00 | The issue is it's not called a board.....it's a card! :p There is a better card....based on the same GPUs, but with larger memory, better circuitry and factory clocked higher, and while not yet (if ever) available in NZ, will probably cost well over $1200 anyway. You must have one heck of a PC....what's the rest of the system? |

Then again, being the high end card you would expect it to use high quality components. But without knowing what that has on it, I wouldn't touch it. Probably better to get an Asus |

| 879034 | 2010-04-28 00:20:00 | ASUS is ****, had nothing but trouble with it, three products and three returns. Although their laptops are great. XFX has always been awesome for me this is my third XFX card. That said I have only ever brought the top of the range so cannot comment on the lower stuff. No more procrastination, I purchashed the card last night :) |

| 879035 | 2010-04-28 01:35:00 | I agree DeSade, XFX is one of the top 3 graphic card manufactures for enthusiasts. Asus is just a mainstream GPU brand usually nothing special, but I would have checked the NZ warranty for that XFX I would want 2+ years myself. Nice card btw :) |

Is there a better card? Yes, its a dual GPU......microstutter and ATi profiles......what resolution are you playing to warrant such a card? Edit, didnt see 2 x 24...!..how do 2 lcd's work in gaming...yuk! |
