| 795152 | 2009-07-26 02:11:00 | My uncle died in 1998 aged 102. He was at Passchendale. A sniper my Dad told me. He rarely talked about it like most of them. Perhaps they would bring up to many bad memories. He told my Dad the worst thing of all was the mud. So bad, he seen a horse drown in it once. Let alone the number of men it sucked down. RIP to all of them Ken |
