795001 2009-07-24 23:21:00 Direct Credit = bank deposit.

COD = Cash on Delivery - i.e. you pay the person who delivers you the goods.

Since I order at night, not having a comp at work (joiner by trade) then email them to say it's paid they still ship the next day so just as quick, only downside is it takes an extra day due to being on the SI

A lot of people paid by Direct Credit to C1 computers, before they disappeared, and they ended up losing their money. Therefore I would recommend people who buy computer parts, pay by Credit card. It is worth it for the piece of mind, as you will get your money back if the company went under. You don't know what sort of financial situation a company is in, in todays financial climate. Plus IMHO Ascents 1.5% discount for DC over CC isn't enough incentive, as they would pay at least 2-3% to the CC transaction company, for each CC transaction.

Ascent are however a good company taht has been around for ages, but many people thought C1 were too.
