794593 2009-07-24 08:41:00 Never realized Christine Keeler was so gorgeous, no wonder there was so much scandal at the time, I remember it but all the pictures I saw of her she seemed almost dowdy. zqwerty (97)

That's it (I mean 'her', not 'it'). Amazing isn't it that it seemed such a salacious pix at the time?

794595 2009-07-24 13:25:00 Why we don't have a public holiday or at least a named day in her honour is beyond me. She got more MP's out than Guy Fawkes managed. R2x1 (4628)

Now I know you guys hardly gave the chair itself a glance - too much distraction, naturally - but it was actually quite a famous design.
Nowadays they sell for big bikkies if you can find one.
I only wish I could remember the designer's name.
But it is Frday night...

The heading of this blog is a quote from Arne Jacobsen, Danish architect and designer. You may have heard of him. He is responsible for the Series 7 chair, a chair that has sold over 5 million copies, the chair Christine Keeler sat on for Lewis Morley’s iconic sixties photograph.
