Had a quick look and there a few for Lilian May GREEN about the time you state. Once you get hooked it is very rewarding. A good chatroom is www.looking4kin.com, people on here have given me great info for free, we help each other out. It's a Canadian chat and there are people on there during New Zealand daylight hours. My mothers nee name WAS Green. Her birthdate I get as , 1904, 1906, 1911, depending on which source I use. Age at first marriage, second marriage & possible death date. Seeing as UK Certs cost abt NZ$30, it is not possible to prove anything. The Greens were Welsh & most likely from Neath, altho' Swansea comes into it somewhere. probably as the main BMD office for that Region. I have done extensive research, over the years, on various Trees & am getting frustrated & disgusted at how many Source Sites are going Pay Only. My own Tree under my Proper name I get back to 1743 & am stuck there. I need to go to Lincoln, UK, to break this Logjam. PJ	Poppa John (284)

As for Gary above, have you tried www.freebmd.co.uk ( type it into Google as the link above does not work) the certs. are 7 pound stg. and I am starting to get a lot of hits now. My late Aunt had a lot of first names back to front, (she was almost 100 when she passed over) so it's to be expected, and that's why I am starting to make sense out of it all. Before we went on our OE in 2003 I checked out www.familysearch.org and came across another two Greats which had been put on the site, only God knows who recorded those!. But that got me back to 1685 on my direct line. My biggest curse is the use of the letter "E" instead of an "A" in our surname. Good luck with both those sites mentioned and lets know how you get on.
