You could say that the family went to Wellington and one family member was driving. There are cases where a family may share driving or even friends may share driving for that matter. Take an example where a number of people are in a Van and for whatever reason these people are spread over the road and are dead. Who was driving the Van? Fingerprints on the steering wheel may give you a clue but these people may be completley innocent in so far as at this stage we don't know if another vehicle was involved. You did not spell completely correctly. What is wrong with you? Do you work for a news company? |

| 795168 | 2009-07-26 10:11:00 | The police are trained to drive as a driver and co-driver - so the guy in the left seat is calling traffic, hazards, handling the radio etc. But only if they are in pursuit of another vehicle. These two officers were not chasing anyone. Also a lot of the time their is only one officer in the car when pursuits take place. I wonder if the 2 people walking on the road were drunk. |
