One year ago a friend of mine got a nice Asus eee Box B202 that worked without flows until yesterday when he reset it and now the machine does not boot at all. The machine has not been open even the first time, everything is original: HDD, memory, OS (WinXP Home SP3), etc. If you hit the start key in the front of the little machine the led will blink once and then will be off, the internal fan will start to work and nothing else will happen. We are thinking in taking it to the service center that the provider might refer us after we take the hard drive out and back up all the data. It is plug to power and as I said, the internal fan works without stop. There is not even a beep nor bios screen nor leds blinking in the keyboard. I fear the motherboard might be dead. :-( Any advice before taking it to the service center? I will really appreciate your kind help! emmerc |
