879738 2010-04-25 05:05:00 Turn the Firewall off in XP and see if it goes. CYaBro (73)
879739 2010-04-25 07:35:00 +1 for what CYaBro said. Usually there's a firewall in the way.

When setting up KiwiLAN, I found that some firewalls, even when they "allowed" warcraft, would still block the broadcast traffic, so turn it off completely :)

<shameless plug>You should join us on KiwiLAN sometime! :D </shameless plug>

879740 2010-04-26 01:46:00 yea, the firewall worked. hows kiwilan? i know people round here use lanfest, but i dont know how to get that to work and kiwilan seems pretty cool nerd (109)
879741 2010-04-26 07:24:00 KiwiLAN is awesome and dead simple too (But I'm biased).

From sign-up to online gaming in < 60 seconds easy :D

I get 7ms pings half the time from my Telecom connection, so it adds very little overheads
