796635 2009-08-07 20:46:00 Perhaps you didn't donate enough.

Donation is a unknown word to me.

I am glad you believe as I am sure it provides solace to some.

The message has always been that those who believe are asked to follow - there is no compulsion for those who don't believe.

While those who don't believe are not doomed to a life of purgatory (although some "god botherers" will have you believe that is true) the people who take the time to read and understand will see that unbelievers are not a problem - just walk away. There is nothing to gain by trying to make those who don't believe into followers - it just does not work that way.

It's quite simple. Believe or don't believe. Your choice. It's not difficult.:)

what, you mean the crusades were misguided?

Damn, what a waste of......life.

Perhaps they should have just been asked to donate.

796642 2009-08-07 23:34:00 Ah the crusades. Luckily those were all very old people who would have been just as dead now without the crusades, so that's alright then.
As someone of the millions much wiser than me remarked, without the church to sop them up, we would be bankrupted by the size and cost of the mental hospitals. He may have been right, but a new, well planned crusade should at least thin out the ranks of the poor people.

Get a good flag and a merry tune and Rodney would back it.
