In our house we have an older computer running XP with SP3 and it is giving intermittent errors when accessing the internet of socket error 11001. Rebooting usually fixes the problem for a while and then several days later it comes back. Any ideas? |

Does this happen if you open a browser or OE?? Since it looks like an OE error
Open a command prompt and type: netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt or use the fix file, which is here (support.microsoft.com) |

The error message shows in OE but the browser wont find and internet page when it happens either. |
