879749 2010-04-25 05:30:00 Hi, I am posting to ask if there is anything I can do;

I have a computer running Windows 7, connected to the internet via ethernet cable. And am unable to connect using wireless.

And I was wondering if I can somehow get my Xbox 360 to connect wirelessly to my computer and use its internet.

I go to university and currently use 'lightwire'.

Is there anything I can do. Thanks.

879750 2010-04-25 05:48:00 youll need an extra ethernet port in your pc.

if you do have one, check this out -

ignore the weird music.

879751 2010-04-25 05:54:00 That's what I thought but I heard that you could setup a Adhoc or similar and it would work.

Also, I cannot (or don't know how to) access the information of the university router settings.

879752 2010-04-25 06:14:00 well i didnt watch the video, but what i do for my ps2 is similar

i just share the connection from the pc to the router with the ps2..

you can create an adhoc and see if it works.

if youre willing to spend money on it, there are other ways to get a connection to your xbox.

879753 2010-04-25 06:26:00 I might try adhoc as I already have the wireless adapter for my xbox 360, but if there are any other suggestions I am open to it.

Thanks.

879756 2010-04-25 07:11:00 File-sharing and all is a pain in the arse on Connectify, but in terms of Internet sharing, it is awesome. Renmoo (66)
