881109 2010-04-29 23:11:00 More and more people are using backgrounds and inline images in their signatures on email. I find this annoying because they show up as attachments under the little paperclip heading in outlook 2003 in HTML mode. Often I sort by this heading to find attachments. Is there any way to make Outlook distinguish between real attachments and these pesky signature images and backgrounds?

Thanks

Douglas

881110 2010-04-29 23:22:00 I don't think there is anyway fix this in Outlook but I could be wrong. Think yourself lucky that Incredimail is not more widely used.

You could retrain people to not use backgrounds and sigs or use a filter in Outlook to block all messages from the annoying people.

881111 2010-04-29 23:29:00 I have been searching the web and some people have been writing code to distinguish between inline and real attachments using something called Outlook Spy - but too techo for me. I was hoping there might be an add in somewhwere out there. oldmgs (11144)
