| 880910 | 2010-04-29 02:52:00 | I just bought a new 500GB HDD to replace a 250GB HDD. I used Norton Ghost 2003 to clone the drive to the new one, but while it will boot, most things don't work. for example: Clicking "My computer" results in explorer.exe crashing without an error message and restarting Most things won't open, I get "You have no permissions, access denied" error Can't run any programs, either nothing happens or I get the access denied error. I can open event viewer but can't look at any events, weird things like that Any ideas as to what could cause this? I tried cloning on two different machines, exact same problem each time. Edit: seems to work OK in Safe Mode... |
