880655 2010-04-28 05:53:00 Hi, if the data connector on the HDD has partially broken off and stuck inside a SATA cable - is that covered under warranty?

Cheers.

880656 2010-04-28 05:56:00 how did it get broken? robsonde (120)
880657 2010-04-28 05:58:00 I dunno. I've broke nothing like that before. I guess it would be just inserting the SATA cable. Only found out when it had intermittent problems and when I took the cable off it.

Think it was broken within the 1 or 3 months, just put up with it for a year or more but fiddling around with the cable but now it appears not going. I may get that old cable out again that had the missing bit inside it ....
