2010-04-27 08:26:00 | What version of office 2007 is it ? Many laptops come with it Pre installed as a trial. To find the Current installed Key, you can use This (www.magicaljellybean.com) but to install it again you will need the CD.

2010-04-27 08:33:00 | what about downloading the trial version from the microsoft website, then using my key to make it permanent, the trial version is 2007 pro, and it is the same version that i have. will that work?? | stevensaaron (6348) | |
2010-04-27 08:40:00 | Just located all the trial versions Here (www.microsoft.com) - select your version, and install. You will have to create a Live ID if you dont already have one ( free) Select USA when asked | wainuitech (129) | |

2010-04-27 09:10:00 | Thats correct, it's NOT the Product ID, you need the Product Key, that is usually on a sticker stuck to the case the cd comes in, but the program above finds the key if you have misplaced the case, still installing, so still fingers crossed (except when i'm typing LOL ;-P) | stevensaaron (6348) | |
2010-04-27 09:10:00 | dont need jelly bean for that wt - get your key from the office proggie itself.... instructions here (grok.lsu.edu) also has the version Version yes- product key NO!!!:groan: Thats the ID, not the product Key, two completely different things the product key is a combination of Letters and numbers the ID is simply numbers. If the system is not bootable you couldn't open the program even if the key were there - so you need a key finder - Done it hundreds of times - slave the drive to a working PC, open Magic key Finder, load hive from slave drive -- Instant keys - windows / Office and maybe some others depending on whats installed.
