| 798969 | 2009-08-07 02:16:00 | I've spotted at least six grammatical errors on www.stuff.co.nz so far today, they better not start charging! :eek: | wratterus (105) | ||
| 798970 | 2009-08-07 02:55:00 | I saw the article that's rocking around the US and also heard about it on radio . Although the NZ version isn't what's being talked about, it's the same player: Murdock . The owner of that particular newspaper conglomerate (Rupert Murdock) said he's tired of the internet stealing and not paying him monies owed for services rendered and he may have to collect cans to feed his family if he doesn't staunch the outflow of the cash . This "new" idea ???? It ain't gonna float . He is just waiting for the other guys to blink in unison and then he'll jump both feet in with demands and "rights" and the ilk . Right now he's sending up trial balloons . This was being set into motion when the Time-Life/AOL deal fell through - even though Murdock wasn't on the front line of the activities . Just wait - it'll all blow over and the web will work even better than it currently does . Somehow - I think GoogleOS is somewhat responsible for this new terror, keeping him up nights trying to figger new angles . Then youse guys'll see that what happens in Roo Land affects the world . This guy's everywhere and has his sticky fingers in a lot of pies like Bill Gate$ . I cite: Australia, The UK and the US . ( . wikipedia . org/wiki/Rupert_Murdock" target="_blank">en . wikipedia . org) Where's Walter Hubert Annenberg when we need him? |

With the internet its gotta be really good or everyone expects it for free, or thinks they pay for it as part of their ISP charges. I was also very interested in the quote by one guy saying that New sites advertising was not working ! Then how come Google makes billions all from on-line advertising ? |
