797989 2009-08-04 06:08:00 I only use gas for the burners on my stove. My monthly consumption is about 4 m3 but the daily charge of 80c is silly.
How do I convert my monthly consumption to bottles i.e. how many cu.ms. does a 9kg bottle hold?

797990 2009-08-04 06:15:00 I can perform this mathematical problem but you sent me M&M's, kegs and Meters.

If you can convert to "King's Noses" and inches, feet and pounds, then I can prolly help.

I have no idea how big "80c" is however. Maybe you mean 80¢

I think you need to address the "cu.ms" with your endocrinologist, however.

I think you would probably need to get the answer from your gas supplier.

Some of the variables involved are temperature and pressure, and the ratio of propane to butane in the LPG.

For pure propane:
www.langegas.de

1Kg of propane has a volume at a pressure of 1 bar and temperature 15C of 535 litres

So a 9Kg bottle will have a "standard gas volume" of 4815 litres or 4.8 cubic metres.

797993 2009-08-04 09:03:00 Also, I'm assuming that you are supplied with 'natural gas'? If so, and you want to switch to LPG, then you will need to change the nozzles on your gas cooker to smaller ones. I'd find out how much that is going to cost first. pine-o-cleen (2955)
797994 2009-08-04 09:09:00 What you are wearing is line charges for your 80 cents per day.

In the event I went away from where I live for one month and turned the power off I am still going to get a power bill. Have not used the landline for a month either but still have to pay anyway.
