To me it seems as if he walked out the door one day and never came back, all his things and the stuff he did around the garden all still here. I look after my mother now, she is 88. Dad was one of the last to leave Dunkirk, he went back on a special mission to France 6 days later, he also fought in the desert campaign and at Monte Casino, he was in the Reconnaissance Corp. |
