| 880903 | 2010-05-05 06:49:00 | On a couple of vBulletin forums I manage, I installed vbStopForumSpam (www.vbulletin.org)I normally manually check out all new registrations that don't have a NZ ISP email address. This is only done once a day, so if a spammer posts straight away (most often they don't) they slip through the net. I am familiar with the www.stopforumspam.com website as it is a quick way to confirm a known spammer. Bevy121, do you have any figures on how many registrations are blocked via the stopforumspam filter and how many still get through on your websites? |
