798058 2009-08-05 00:03:00 He will only get a custodial sentence which he doesn't deserve being an ex minister it should be prison time

Since when was "Custodial" not "Prison" or at least home detention?

Cheers

Perhaps then criminals might reconsider there deeds, as the holiday camp called prison certainly isnt doing anything to deter them thanks to the soft liberals, however our out of touch judges can only bark!

7 years per offence found guilty of. 26 out of 35 charges.

26 offences X 7 = 182 years but of course it will be served concurrently which is just 7 years max.

798061 2009-08-05 00:58:00 The Westminster type of government we have here requires corrupt ministers to fall on their swords ie do the honorable thing and resign.
This feild person is despicable and needs locking up fore a long time.
He would have been good as a police officer in the southern states of usa.
Officer field pulls you up for brake light not working but officer it works see and the officer feild smashes the light with his baton and says no it does not work.
The island way of doing things is at odds with the English due process system, if you mess up in English system you go from hero to zero, chieflyness is not taken into account.
This concurrent system of punishment needs changing to the us model.
