| 797622 | 2009-08-03 18:59:00 | That's: SIR Cliff Richard! Even in the US - I know that! However - from a UK Newspaper: Sir Cliff recently released his new autobiography My Life, My Way. In it the lifelong bachelor revealed he twice considered marrying, first to the singer Jackie Irving and secondly to Sue Barker. Sir Cliff, a fervent Christian, spoke for the first time of his close friendship with a former Roman Catholic priest, Father John McElynn, an American former missionary he shares a home with. He described Father McElynn as his 'companion' and 'blessing'. The star has repeatedly dismissed rumours questioning his sexuality. He recently admitted that he enjoyed the fact that he kept people guessing about it. He said: 'My private life is private. And I think it is great that after 50 years I am still an enigma.' I remember when I was at school and we heard that the Shadows were putting out a new single we all went crazy. Apache, FBI, Flingel Blunt. |

| 797629 | 2009-08-03 21:38:00 | My youngest daughter made 400 rhubarb crumbles for Cliff Richard's ?50th birthday party! As far as I am concerned, leave the old fella behind, and bring the Shadows, provided Hank Marvin is still with them... |
