| 881690 | 2010-05-02 11:13:00 | I just got home from work, plugged in my laptop and it wasnt showing that it was charging. So I picked up the power cord and the square bit of the charger was beeping? What the hell has happened? Do I need a new one or what? | xyz823 (13649) | ||
| 881691 | 2010-05-02 11:20:00 | Scratch that... took it inside and plugged it in. Held it up to my ear and it beeped, held it up to mums ear and it stopped beeping. She now thinks I'm crazy... anyway its running off the power fine now. I didnt even know power packs could beep? |

| 881693 | 2010-05-03 02:21:00 | I've found this happens with HP/Compaq power adapters that have a broken/breaking wire at the laptop end of the adapter. Generally speaking, it's only a matter of time before complete failure. |
