881615	2010-05-02 00:31:00	Hi peoples. Have posted a HJT log after going through it myself and need confirmation before deleting anything. Want to get rid of Ask & Stumble, however, 023 MSCPTISRV (file missing) I don't know anything about. It's my daughter's Vaio lappy and every now and then it refuses to connect to our home network. Other computers (2) on the same network have no problems and when a new connection is made it goes no problems. There are no problems with phones etc interfering and it's an intermittent problem. Have done scans with MSS, Mbytes, Spybot, and run CC cleaner - all up to date and no problems found. 881616	2010-05-02 00:37:00	Which Browser are you using for a start. Internet Explorer or Firefox or other. In IE there is a option to disable various services / add on's, same with FireFox. I have disabled ASK in my neices computer by going into IE and doing it there, she doesn't use FF but there is bound to be a way. In IE go to Tools > Manage Add On's > Enable or Disable > then select the item(s) that you want to disable. FireFox has more or the less same, Tools > Add On's but not sure if ASK would be in there. Does ASK and STUMBLE have uninstallers.....?	PinoyKiw (9675)

881618	2010-05-02 01:34:00	Pino - Using Chrome as default browser and can't find uninstallers for ASK. Haven't actually tried to uninstall Stumble yet, but don't think that will be a problem. Speedy - Thanks yet again ! The 023 MSCSPTISRV with missing file, could this be associated with the intermittent loss of wireless connection ? Incase I was unclear the first time round, the lappy works fine 90% of the time, however, when it looses connection it wont reconnect to our home network even though it's showing and at excellent strength. The only way to reconnect is to go through the process of making a new wireless connection - it comes up with "network name (2)" Just the missing file bit that I was really unsure about and whether something needs to be replaced ? 881621	2010-05-02 03:03:00	Thanks Speedy. Gary - managed to get rid of ASK & Stumble but they weren't showing up in ccleaner or program install/remove via control panel. Had to go through my computer > program files. I'm done for the day ... Dunedin has beautiful sunshine and I'm going out on the deck and have a couple of my namesakes .....
