800316 2009-08-12 07:45:00 Ex MP's are worried that their trips to the Riviera may be threatened, serious stuff.
A touching tale of woe here (www.nzherald.co.nz)

God forbid they go on strike and deprive us of - - errr - - - something.
This is the same bunch that have been tilting playing fields and shifting goal posts since time immemorial.
I feel compelled to sympathise, not with these troughlodytes, but with their neighbours who will be subjected to incessant bleating.
The only reason I can see for cheap airfares for them is if it is one way. :clap :clap

800318 2009-08-12 10:58:00 They didn't seem too worried when Telecom cut the P&T pension holders free toll calls Whenu (9358)
800319 2009-08-12 11:02:00 It didn't appear to stress them unduly when the Social Security scheme got axed; but thanks for all the taxes, suckers. R2x1 (4628)

Nice play on words. It's not just the snout in the trough, but all 4 trotters too! Rapacious doesn't quite describe it.....

800321 2009-08-12 19:57:00 I keep getting told that their will be no state pension when I retire only Kiwisaver, so why am I still paying into both? Where is the state pension money going if I'm not going to see it. Cheap flights anyone? gary67 (56)

I feel for you with your pension to come, maybe.

I started paying into the govt pension Fund at 15 1/2 yrs of age. I am now 70 & on Super. Yet I am getting called a bludger by some, hopefully by those who are working, not by those who are not.

It would probably have been better for THAT amount of money that was to be pension money to have been set aside for the future. But then, politicians would not be able to keep their hands off it.

As I believe is what happenned. My Pension Savings were spent on other things. Schools, Roads Hospitals, Hydro stations, MPs perks. PJ

800323 2009-08-13 10:22:00 Your lucky you know where yours went, mine don't even exist if what I hear is true and I won't ever see any of it gary67 (56)
800324 2009-08-13 10:33:00 As I said in another thread, we seem to be getting nearer to Dickens days than Dickens. There is serious talk about raising the pensionable age to 70, and not just in this country.

Next it will be work until you die, or, if you become too ill or incapable then off into the new workhouses they will build.

The Bilderbergers and Illuminati have it all planned out for us :clap

800325 2009-08-13 13:03:00 Watch out, or Cicero will have you against a wall and accused of attempting to steal corporation bullets before you know what's happening. ;) R2x1 (4628)
