| 799072 | 2009-08-07 08:25:00 | Is it just me or is anyone else suffering for Telecom being xtra slow? It's been about two weeks that I haven't been able to get a download at a decent speed... Right now I am getting a 30ish KB/s download. I'm on Telecom's Adventure plan. Supposedly getting 20 gigs a month. At this rate I would be lucky to get if I was downloadig 24/7 for a month. Anyone else? Edit: Just ran Telecom's Speed test... "Your line speed is approximately 399.8 Kbps or 49 KB/sec" What a pathetic joke. |

| 799075 | 2009-08-07 09:49:00 | Try this: Goto speedtest.net and run a test with Auckland & Tauranga Now, click Start --> Run --> cmd Type the following int the new window: ping -n 10 trademe.co.nz Post back the min, max, average and packet loss Then, do the test again 3x a day in morning, afternoon & late night for the next few days, post back each day :) |

| 799080 | 2009-08-08 03:44:00 | Called up Telecom support, whined for a bit. They told me to reset my modem and presto. Back to decent speeds. "Your line speed is approximately 2144.1 Kbps or 262.8 KB/sec". Not too bad, should have a line capable for ADSL2 by the end of the year. |
