800527 2009-08-23 05:28:00 Beeswax should be though.

Ya gotta be paid for doing the work and giving up time.

800528 2009-08-23 07:11:00 We have the "Why", (Laura's coming), we have the "When" - Sat 29th. Aug at 1 PM, the "What" is food & company, now here's the "Where": The Asia Food Alley at 9 Albert St. (www.imagef1.net.nz) - meet out side and form a maul/ruck/scrum until we have a quorum, then invade the place in force and let pcuserwinvista eat everything in sight.

Just to clarify, I'll be arriving a little earlier, perhaps 12:45, and ordering at 1PM sharp ;)

It's tough enough holding out for lunch, let alone being tortured with the smell wafting out through the automatic doors of divine Asian cuisine!

Agreed. Either that, or some to lunch ;)

I may as well come there early then - the train arrives at 12:29 so I've got half an hour :D

800531 2009-08-23 07:39:00 I'll be leaving even earlier, but will be visiting a phone repair store on the way bob_doe_nz (92)
800532 2009-08-23 09:05:00 I hope you all enjoy the outing. I wish I could come up and see you all.

I do have chopsticks I could bring and I know how to use them.

800533 2009-08-23 09:17:00 Well, as a compromise to suit Chilling_Silence's restless gizzard when provoked, how about meeting in the foyer of Britomart Station and when the Guest Of Honour arrives we can ceremoniously march or slouch across to the hall of a thousand aromas? Possibly the function has not yet achieved sufficient seniority to demand that we be allowed to march with flags flying, drums beating and bayonets fixed, but we might ask if we can take a double push on the pedestrian lights button.
Well, how about a free turn on putting rubbish in the bin?

The Britomart foyer we could use (to allay the inevitable confusion) is the slightly raised portion just inside the main Q street doors, or at the top of the 2nd escalator for the trainees. It is handy to the ticket counter for them what needs tickets counted, but best of all it is free and it seldom rains in there. There's chairs too.

Hah. Can't scare us - we have Laura on our side, so there ;)
