After the 90-day Trial expires, if you wish to continue to use Windows 7 Enterprise, please note that you will be required to purchase and perform a clean installation of Windows 7, including drivers and applications. Please keep this in mind; Windows 7 Enterprise is not available through retail channels.

So I do have to wonder why the DVD which was used legally went to another location.

882087 2010-05-03 20:59:00 In the post I put " never mind" that was what I actually suggested, getting the trial and using your own key - BUT the Enterprise trial comes pre pidded
The 90-day Trial is the full working version of the Windows 7 Enterprise, the version most of you will be working with in your corporate environment. It will not require a product key (it is embedded with the download). Dont know if you can change the key.

I know with the Office 2007 trials you can, as you are given a trail key to enter.

AFAIK - you cant get a DVD like retails - its actually a downloaded ISO. As it says "specifically for IT Professionals" one reason it can be imaged out to many machines at once.

I can load it up and see I spose ( even for my own interest)

882090 2010-05-03 22:15:00 If you download the trial, you can change the trial product key over to a legit full enterprise key - just did it

When installing the trial, you wont be asked for a key since its pre pidded.

882091 2010-05-04 02:49:00 So, he took the disc with him when he moved away or you still have the disc.

If you have the disc, should be a simple case of putting the disc into the CD tray, rebooting and assuming the bios is set to boot from CD, then follow the prompts.

If he took the disc with him.......

Does not compute!...Enterprise would probably be VLK licensed!...which means the PC is part of a corporate software agreement with MS.....try the IT dept...
