| 800316 | 2009-08-12 07:45:00 | Ex MP's are worried that their trips to the Riviera may be threatened, serious stuff. A touching tale of woe here (www.nzherald.co.nz) God forbid they go on strike and deprive us of - - errr - - - something. This is the same bunch that have been tilting playing fields and shifting goal posts since time immemorial. I feel compelled to sympathise, not with these troughlodytes, but with their neighbours who will be subjected to incessant bleating. The only reason I can see for cheap airfares for them is if it is one way. :clap :clap |

| 800321 | 2009-08-12 19:57:00 | I keep getting told that their will be no state pension when I retire only Kiwisaver, so why am I still paying into both? Where is the state pension money going if I'm not going to see it. Cheap flights anyone? | gary67 (56) | ||
| 800322 | 2009-08-13 08:22:00 | I keep getting told that their will be no state pension when I retire only Kiwisaver, so why am I still paying into both? Where is the state pension money going if I'm not going to see it. Cheap flights anyone? I feel for you with your pension to come, maybe. I started paying into the govt pension Fund at 15 1/2 yrs of age. I am now 70 & on Super. Yet I am getting called a bludger by some, hopefully by those who are working, not by those who are not. It would probably have been better for THAT amount of money that was to be pension money to have been set aside for the future. But then, politicians would not be able to keep their hands off it. As I believe is what happenned. My Pension Savings were spent on other things. Schools, Roads Hospitals, Hydro stations, MPs perks. PJ |

| 800324 | 2009-08-13 10:33:00 | As I said in another thread, we seem to be getting nearer to Dickens days than Dickens. There is serious talk about raising the pensionable age to 70, and not just in this country. Next it will be work until you die, or, if you become too ill or incapable then off into the new workhouses they will build. The Bilderbergers and Illuminati have it all planned out for us :clap |
