882859 2010-05-06 11:20:00 Are you getting the BSOD only when you go to the FB site?? Does it crash in anything else / any other site?

Get bluescreenview. Load the dmp file/s. See what that says. See what files it highlights

882860 2010-05-06 11:28:00 First time BSOD. Just trying to be cautious.
This was a fresh install of windows 7 only installed a month ago. No problems up until now...

From bluescreenview.

882861 2010-05-06 11:34:00 Cool OK. Umm so does it bluescreen in anything else ? In a program? In this forum? Or just on FB? Does the name of a driver / file appear on the BSOD? Whats the brand / model of the mobo? Speedy Gonzales (78)
882862 2010-05-06 11:44:00 Umm like i said...that was the first time. So don't know if it bluescreens in anything else yet. I'm currently using that pc now and it seems fine, i just wanted to be preemptive thats all.
From bluescreenview it appears that the BSOD was caused by halmacpi.dll?

882863 2010-05-06 11:47:00 Yup its either that or usbport.sys..Is it showing the right info under system for your CPU?? And in device manager under processor? Speedy Gonzales (78)
882864 2010-05-06 11:51:00 Yep shows all 4 cores in device manager and correct specs in system.
Do you think this could have been a one off random BSOD? I hope so...

882865 2010-05-06 11:55:00 Well I would wait for another mth. And see what else it crashes in. If it's only crashing in FB. Then there's probably something on FB thats causing it. Speedy Gonzales (78)
882866 2010-05-06 11:57:00 Sweet as then. Thanks for your help :) EviLClouD (12981)
