882592 2010-05-06 00:54:00 Hi guys and thanks for your advice.

I am trying to setup an automatic back up of a system folder to memory stick.

I thought I could use "Scheduled Tasks" but I am stumped how to do it.

Can you please advise how I can do this?

Thanks,

Ian.:banana

882593 2010-05-06 01:10:00 What software are you using to perform said backup?
I would use something like SyncBack SE, it's free and it has its own scheduler built in.

882595 2010-05-06 01:24:00 I have used FBackup (http://www.fbackup.com/) on many customers PC's to do daily Scheduled backups, as well as one of the two backup systems on my own PC's daily. (other is WHS)

Never failed yet and never misses a backup (unless the destination drive or PC is not running)

One of the reasons I use that program, is it doesn't create a backup in its own format ( like so many others do) - meaning it simply puts it in a compressed zip folder that can be opened from any PC.

All done.

Easy as, with right program.
