| 802642 | 2009-08-21 09:18:00 | It's all quite funny really. All over PF1 we are seeing the rednecks having appoplectic fits, venting their frustration that the New World Order they so looked forward to before the election has just fizzled out like a damp squib. They can't quite believe that this National government is really no different to what has gone before. We even see their beloved Rodney stamping his foot and threatening to break his toys if he doesn't get his way  |

| 802644 | 2009-08-21 10:40:00 | In my view the entire Justice system needs a complete overhaul. I'm not only talking about Criminal law here but also Civil matters etc. As I believe I have mentioned before the word "Justice" would seem to imply fairness. The extract below for example. n. The quality of being just; fairness. The principle of moral rightness; equity. Conformity to moral rightness in action or attitude; righteousness. The upholding of what is just, especially fair treatment and due reward in accordance with honor, standards, or law. Law. The administration and procedure of law. Conformity to truth, fact, or sound reason: The overcharged customer was angry, and with justice. (Abbr. J.) Law. A judge. A justice of the peace. What we currently have is a system that seems to be flawed in so many ways it is not funny any more. We see that some people manipulate the law to their own advantage from time to time. Trusts are created to avoid tax. But which morals do we use anyway as a society? In my opinion you only lock up or imprison any person that may pose a further risk. In some cases various people belong in a mental hospital rather than a prison. Some parole officers may belong in hospital as well. To close I would propose that those who know everything could maybe go off and fix the system. For the record at the last general election I did cast my vote and it was not for National but my preferred party did not field a local candidate. |

Are you in favour of Sharian law? I'm more in favour of a system that is designed to get to the truth myself. |

| 802649 | 2009-08-21 12:11:00 | Trusts are created to avoid tax. Not picking on you Sweep - just a tiny bit of history. Trusts date from the days of the Crusades. They were formalised by the Statute of Uses 1535. A holds property for the use (benefit) of B. In the days when women and youth could not own land it was very useful. Today trusts are used for intellectually handicapped children, elderly people with dementia, situations where people are unable to look after themselves. I know that isn't the type of trust you are thinking of but trusts are important instruments. |
