| 883733 | 2010-05-11 00:30:00 | I'm currently working to push out Office 2007 through Group Policy at work. I want to push a normal install, but not install Outlook, Groove or InfoPath. This has gone well (for OL and IP), except I can't get it to remove Groove. I've created a config.xml (as I've read that the MSP file from the OCT isn't observed when deployed through GP). Here's my config.xml: <Configuration Product="Enterprise"> <Display Level="basic" CompletionNotice="yes" SuppressModal="yes" NoCancel="yes" AcceptEula="yes" /> <PIDKEY Value="XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" /> <USERNAME Value="username" /> <COMPANYNAME Value="company" /> <OptionState Id="GROOVEFiles" State="absent" Children="force" /> //remove groove <OptionState Id="XDOCSFiles" State="absent" Children="force" /> //remove infopath <OptionState Id="OUTLOOKFiles" State="absent" Children="force" /> //remove outlook </Configuration> :help: |

| 883736 | 2010-05-13 13:55:00 | I think it might be that you have GROOVEFiles in the wrong case can you try it again with the correct capitalisation The others are in the correct case as per the link below. Config.xml file OptionState Id values technet.microsoft.com I know that there are areas of the XML file that are case sensitive Cheers Nathan Microsoft NZ |
