What is the correct name for the type of connector used here?

I need some for a prototype and was going to search Farnell for them but I'm unsure what I would need to search for

802390 2009-08-19 04:14:00 I would guess they'd be sold as *x*pin ribbon (cable) connector/plug/socket, but who knows.

Low insertion force socket comes to mind, not sure if it's the same thing or not, I think they are the push-in ones, when you are looking for the clip-in?

I know the cable is called Flexible flat cable.

Now I think about it, I may be barking up the wrong tree with the LIF socket, because a ZIF (Zero insertion force) socket is the official name for something like a CPU socket. Will keep thinking! :p

The name comes from what plugs into them, either Flat Flexible Cables or Flexible Printed Circuits
