Hate to break it to ya, you are way under-budgeting. My old lady had her bathroom done last year set her back a tad under 25k. And a lot of work was done either free or well below what you'd normally expect to pay. As said plumbers are probably worst of the lot in terms of reliabilty too. Good luck! |

Hate to break it to you but you can still sit on toilets that don't cost $1500 and cheap baths still hold water. What were the material costs? |

Plumber did the pipework, got the shower installed but the rest done by myself (except for the carpet laying). Total cost would have been around 10K so I wonder what 25k would buy? (and that included an expensive shower unit). | user (1404) | ||
| 803669 | 2009-08-24 22:56:00 | So does Mr pctek have to submit to steam cleaning before he's allowed into the house? We have had an ongoing argument about him tromping through the house in his filthy workboots for years. They're clean he says as lumps of dirt, smudges of oil and sawdust fall off all through the place,. Since I had to pay the carpet cleaning guy $110 recently, (robbers they are down here) he's been taking them off and leaving them in the outer part. And he takes them off for everyone elses house! Grr... On Sunday I vacuumed the couch where he'd leaned back and left sawdust all over it from his workshirt. |
