As you can see, the US didn't really like the guy or his recentemente ricchi parents, siblings and other pretenders for a throne. According to the gutter press, may be. Fortunately the gutter press is buried under the mountain of overwhelming good will of the thinking and objective press. And the thousands who lined the route followed by his hearse certainly could not be remotely described as despising the man, neither could the tens of thousands who lined up to pay their final tributes. Let's keep the American gutter press where it belongs, which place is not to be selectively quoted for some one's own agenda, in a thinking man's forum. :2cents: |

However it should not be forgotten that his father's extreme anglophobia rubbed off on young Teddy, and it should not be forgotten how he, along with many Americans gave moral support,aid and millions $$ to the IRA. Goats however, rarely change horns . It doesn't become a stretch of the imagination or logic to know that there's incredible amounts of "pork" in public office with deals that happen behind closed doors and remunerations in plain brown envelopes . It's a politician's creed (wink, wink) to make a fortune for himself yet all the time appearing sober (which went for wanting in this case) and contrite (which he was NOT - ever!) and working for the public's good (which is damaging in concept if not in actuality here) . It will be a public rope burn around his neck when all the prurient facts get out since he no longer can use his spinmeisters or daddy's money to defend him and his now room temperature unmoving lips cannot lie from the grave . Historical revision is NOT, however out of the picture and the bleeding hearts and US State-controlled newspaper with staunch liberal views will paint him to a level just below that of the Pope hisself when this whitewashing is completed . Whitewash, however, is not permanent and will slowly erode, offering a view of the true nakedness of the "Lion Of The House" as he mal-appropriated and coined for himself . "Resident Buffoon" or "Ivory Tower Porkulous" seem to fit better according to those on both sides of the aisle . I know quite well of the IRA connection and you may even know of the "Mick Wars" in the eastern US states that he fostered and poked-up the smoldering coals all the time with the Roma-Papal, Mano Negro . This is also associated with their anti-Blue Lodge (the reader use discretion) distastes and the resultant hemorrhage of both blood and deceitful propaganda . Typically this was never reported in the newspapers, or was but only ONCE! He was an avid COE hater and received not only blessings from Rome, but underhanded support all the while he smiled and spoke homilies about "Let's just get along together" with views to and for his High Priest and Pretender to Vahallian Empiricism; his Sainted Sister Eunice at his side . It was what killed his brothers and served as a warning to him too: he spun a new image every eyeblink after that revelation much like an Emu, who when it blinks enters a new calendar day every time . UNfortunately there are no retirees from the IRA and he kept the secret handshake and signet ring . Anti-Anglo attitude that was seen as racist and belligerent to those closest to him - the voters in his home state and surrounding areas who knew the exploits and activities of the "K-Klan" - only created and fueled more rancor as the whole Kennedy fortune was viewed as "Nuveau-Riche" and therefor immodest and inferior . Boston is about OLD MONEY and the whole K group was considered a social and financial pariah . Morally bankrupt and lacking the ethics of dogs in heat, the constant Kennedy feature was their numerous sexual escapades with constant "costume failures" in their zippers and this may even have been the reason why and how Clinton thought he too was exempt of public pillory, but Clinton didn't have the K-cash to buy a "Get Out Of Jail Free" card . Murder is murder and there's no debating that . How can someone so disembodied from reality and morality and conscience be considered a "great man and politician" unless it was the obvious: IE, he was a filthy rich spoiled fat boy with the morals of an alley cat . The Pope has clandestinely spoken from the bully pulpit that every Catholic will line the processional route and wail over the sarcophagus as it is floated down the Styx . Production of crocodile tears will receive a Papal simonous deposit in Heaven . You can get a lot of heads to count if there's an eternal payoff for a few hours worth of discomfort . Hate for and of the K-name isn't where it began nor where it will end . The US is under an unarmed invasion of illegal "residents" that was fomented by and written into law as a sidebar happenstance via the Ted Kennedy drumming of the "Bracero Act" out of existence - in that it removed the control of the borders and ceased allowing farms and factories from hiring documented person for the sake of employment for them and work for the employers . It worked like this: A person of non-US citizenship would go to the local American Embassy and request to be placed on the Bracero List for employment in the US for a year, two years or more . That person, if of "moral stature" was then given an ID and a license that had punch positions on it for the number of times that person crossed the border . This worked very well for quite a few years, and both the Bracero and the US got what it needed and there were certain "rights" that the Bracero had . Food, pay rates, shelter, working hours and medical care were all carefully monitored, but Kennedy quashed the bill and the program was discontinued for whatever perverted reason he had . The result? The borders are awash with fence hoppers and river swimmers, all trying to get to the US for a better life . This is THE NUMBER ONE problem in the US now as workers are standing on corners and gathering at retailers who cater to the construction trades, all looking for work at cheap rates . The "undocumented" workers prey upon each other, the local townships and rob and rape the local citizens . Urine and feces flow in the gutters and cardboard shacks are set afire while the occupant is sleeping: this by the same people who stood on the corner looking dolefully for work with them just hours ago . It's a real war, make no mistake about it, all brought on by Mister Nice Politician, Theodore the Kennedy . I try to remain neutral about things political, but the exploits of him and his family make me cringe if not totally hate him and his kind for what they did, do and are doing to life pursuits and freedom of choice . Golden pedestals are NOT for him nor his ilk - just look behind the curtain for once - huh? |
