| 804040 | 2009-08-25 06:14:00 | Again - thanks. It's 10PM here, Monday and I am still on the phone with all the friends all over the US. Arizona, Texas, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Montana and all over California. He had lots of friends in the 85 years he had. I am very fortunate to have such a revered position with him and his wife in the years they were in my life. He was there for my first wife's death, my oldest son's death and all our good friends now deceased (his too) from our original group from Anaheim. |

| 804043 | 2009-08-25 16:58:00 | Well - it's another day and I am over the shock of finding a friend in his deathbed . The sadness, of course will continue for a while but I find anger raises it's head in the fact that he's deceased now and I cannot talk to him like I used to every Monday and Wednesday and then dinner on Fridays which we have had and done together for years . It seems that we never took enough pictures of people who are now dead and we have many memories that can fade with our aging . My sincerest recommendation: take lots of pictures of friends and family - pictures in either electronic or paper don't fade as quickly as our minds and it's associated thought retention processes . This too will pass . Thanks all for the sincere words . They mean a lot . |

| 804045 | 2009-08-25 20:20:00 | Times like this bring out the good and bad in people - so far the F1 peeps are all on the positive side of the ledger. There are OTHERS in the immediate area of where my friend Al lived who came right up to my face and said: "I want to go on record that I am the first to tell you that I want Al's car! It should be mine and I want you to make sure that I get it!" Another bloodsucker is telling everyone that he arrived at the scene as the first person (it gets legally convoluted here - but suffice to say that if there is NO ONE mentioned or named as executor in the will, then the first respondent can claim prima-personna and assume those rights) - and he says that he will disburse the personal effects and monies as he sees fit. Unfortunately for him at this point I was the RP or "reporting party" of record by the 911 dispatcher since they never respond without a name and identification number plus phone number by the person who calls in for emergency services. It may well bode badly for him if he makes a legal claim as that is perpetration of second degree fraud and intention to commit first degree fraud against the deceased. The rights of the dead far exceed those that common people even consider. But for the gall of it all - can you imagine anyone telling me that they deserve the car? Gack! Double Gack! For the record - I may well be the person named as executor. The papers and all effects at this point are in probate via the Coroner's Office of the County Of Riverside. |

There should be. Around here they no longer fly in circles looking for carrion, they perch on boardroom chairs and prey on the living. |
