| 884182 | 2010-05-12 05:28:00 | Well i just looked at the time and it's quater past 4, heres me thinking it was almost lunch time. Been designing a page tested it worked fine in ff opera IE8 and chrome but not in IE7 or IE6 finally got the damn thing working in IE7, but i still can't get IE6 to work properly, and yes IE6 is important So i have decided to ask for help yet again on this as you can see the dividing line runs right down the middle of the page, it should stop at the footer but instead goes straight through, and there should be a bar above the footer (the bar is the bottom border of the "main" div that holds the content and sidebar) nigel.geek.nz nigel.geek.nz This is a hack that got the bar above the footer working (by using the top border of the footer rather than the bottom border of the main div)but still didn't solve the divider running through the footer. nigel.geek.nz anyhelp would be appreciated on a completely different note, IE developer toolbar, i am sure i ran it on a pre XP version of windows, but the only info I can find says it only runs on XP and above Yes i tried firebug, but running on nt4 ie6 in a virtual machine it was phenomenally unstable |
